Radiohead @ The Woodlands
I wish I could claim the above photo, but it was taken courtesy of some dude on Flickr at this past Saturday's Radiohead show in The Woodlands. I wish I had smuggled in a camera as many people had the sense and nerves to do so and were able to capture some great shots and videos (this guy blakeeb got some pretty decent clips). New Music
One of the best things about my brother Brian is that he's a music fanatic and probably has been the largest influence in my life when it comes to exposure to new music. This past weekend as we headed out to the Radiohead show we had a chance to talk about new music as well as spin some favorites of ours on his iPod, on which I learned he's completely filled the 80GB because his iTunes library is hovering around 110GB or so and I want to say he still hasn't ripped everything in yet. Preparing for Radiohead
This Saturday I'm heading down to Houston to see my favorite band, Radiohead, play at the pavilion in the Woodlands. There are VERY few bands that I will happily fork out $50 for lawn seats to go see, but I've been a fan of Radiohead for many years now and I can't pass them up. They don't do US tours that often and it's been 5 years since I saw them last. I really wish I could see them at a venue other than the Woodlands, but since they're a very popular band and don't play a lot of shows ... -
Ethan Durelle
My cousin Chris plays in a band called Ethan Durelle and I thought that my next piece should throw a little promotion their way. They hail from Waco and have some pretty catchy tunes. They also rock the stage like madmen. -
Elliott Smith - “Angeles”
Incredible video of Elliott Smith performing "Angeles" in a living room (via iso50). I first heard this song when watching "Good Will Hunting" and it immediately stood out to me. I really like Elliott's music and it's such a shame that he's no longer with us. -

Phew! I have been wanting to do this for a long time. For years now I have been spending all of my time as a designer creating artwork for other people, whether that be clients, my employer or friends. Recently I've been thinking about carving out time to do some personal work for a change, but have been struggling with figuring out where to start.
