One Song. One Take. One Cab. This wins as the coolest thing I’ve found on the net today and that’s saying a lot because it’s been a pretty awesome day in that respect already. The Black Cab Sessions features filmed performances of musicians playing one of their songs in the back seat of a black cab. Mostly done with acoustic guitars, these performances are brilliant because they are raw with an impromptu feel.
Also, a tip of the hat goes to the site designer, particularly for the hand-drawn rearview mirror graphic that wraps the videos. Very clever.
