This photo came through my RSS feeds this morning and I fell in love with it. The depth of field is just striking. The title of this image is “Morning Traffic” so that obviously tells me that the lights are headlights, but there is still a mysterious quality to the image that draws me in. It was taken by photographer Michael Kenna and after seeing this image I quickly made my way over to his portfolio which I found contains many more beautiful black and white images.
