The blog is fixed and I’m back at work after having 2 weeks off. I feel like a new man. Now all I have to do is go through tons of emails, get caught up on projects and peruse the 2355 articles that just pulled into my RSS feeder.
Veerle Pieters wrote a great article on how to use Illustrator's LiveColor toolset. I have yet to actually use this feature myself because I had no idea how to use it. Thanks to Veerle I'll have to try it out, it looks very interesting.
Photo: Ratcliffe Power Station:
Michael Kenna proves his talent to me again with this shot of the Ratcliffe Power Station in England. While he finds beauty in it, I would probably move on because it's foggy.
The Curious Job of Kevin Cornell:
Illustrator Kevin Cornell has spent the past 5 months working on illustrations for the graphic novel The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He recently wrote this post talking about his involvement with the project and displaying a vast amount of sketches. Cornell is an awesome artist and is the featured illustrator over on A List Apart, another fantastic website.
Photoshop Combo Moves:
Stupid title, but good article over on Smashing Magazine about valuable keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop. I use a lot of these and highly recommend incorporating them into your workflow as they will absolutely speed up your work.
Desire To Inspire:
Very nice site devoted to design ideas and creative solutions for interior spaces. Really love the idea of a tunnel between two kids rooms in this post.
