New site The Impossible Project is on a mission. That mission is to spend the next 12 months developing and researching a new way of manufacturing analog Instant Film that Polaroid ceased to produce in 2008. The team, Impossible b.v., have acquired the equipment and factory in the Netherlands from Polaroid and are building a team of experts as they plow forward in this endeavor. Really enjoying the work I just stumbled upon over in the portfolio of interactive agency Area 17. The work they did for AOL Weather is gorgeous. Also like the simplicity and clean design of their agency site.
In December I had the privilege to do a photoshoot with Josh and Jennifer while we were in Houston for Christmas and my sister-in-law’s wedding. My friend Mike and I shot the wedding the day before I did this shoot for Josh and Jennifer and so I was exhausted to say the least going into it but had a blast once we got started. Thankfully I had Cynthia as my helper and she definitely made a huge difference, allowing me to relax and focus. Also Josh and Jennifer were so easy going and we all hit it off. Doing portraiture work is a new area of photography for me but I loved the challenge and the creativity it offered. I’m hoping to continue to expand in this area.
I’m selling my Nikon D40 pictured in the above photographs. I’m including the entire kit that came with the camera when I got it back in April 2008. I bought the camera new so it’s not even a year old and is in perfect condition. Here’s a list of the included items:

I love this camera, it’s been very good to me. Reason I’m selling it is I’m upgrading to another Nikon DSLR. You can browse through my Flickr photostream to see the kind of results you can get with this camera. I also recommend checking out Ken Rockwell’s highly praising review of the D40.

Very nice looking ad campaign for Nike ACG. It’s that mix of reality and abstract reality that I’m a sucker for. Not sure which agency is responsible for these. If anyone knows drop me a comment.
