I don’t think these are available anymore, or at least they’re very hard to come by, but I’d love to get my hands on one. So so beautiful. If anyone knows if they’re still for sale, please let me know.
Staction is a people managing app that helps you manage communication across groups and through projects. I like the simplicity it touts.
Wonderful illustrations from artist Andrew Holder. These above are ones that stood out to me especially while browsing his portfolio. Found via It’s Nice That.
I sold my D40 a couple of days ago, so it is no longer for sale. I’m patiently awaiting the arrival of my new gear. Unfortunately the arrivals of the body and lens appear to be offset from each other by almost a week, so I guess I’ll be able to get very well acquainted with the menu buttons and instruction booklet.
Highly entertaining and interesting infographic showing Twitter chatter across the nation during the Super Bowl on Sunday. The map displays, via an animated timeline, the frequency of certain popular words as they were posted. You can filter based on criteria such as “All Tweets”, “Ads” and “Player Names”. If you watched the game it’s interesting to see certain words explode in frequency as big plays happened on the field, especially towards the end. Same goes for the more entertaining commercials. Extremely fun and creative video by Oren Lavie. Another great example of how a well executed idea that takes advantage of the ubiquity of something like YouTube can gain a lot of traction and exposure without having to rely on traditional marketing channels which are mostly out of reach for independent artists.
