Yet again the brilliant minds at Ars Thanea craft up something gorgeous that I just have to share. This piece was done for the upcoming, 10-episode series Life for the Discovery Channel. It apparently ties in with Planet Earth and looking at the artwork you can see a nod in that direction with the sun glow around the “e”. Outside of UI and website design this kind of photo-illustration work is something I absolutely love to do.
I’m assuming it’s the same “Life” that was on BBC over the last couple of months here in the UK. If you get the chance to watch it, do so – it’s breathtaking.
As for the ad work, seen that the other day – equally lovely, don’t expect anything less from the chaps at Ars Thanea.
Ah, the american version is narrated by Oprah – don’t think it’d be the same for me without the sexy voice of Sir David Attenborough.
