Check out these amazing images released this week at Comic-Con for the new Tron movie. This just elevated my excitement level to ludicrously excited. The movie is slated for a 2011 release and is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who is someone I seriously need to do a post about at some point because he has been very inspirational to me as a designer.
This is really bad in my book. The Original TRON design where highly colourful and original. These new designs are 99% Black, and not original at all. What’s the point of desing if it’s 99% black, especially when the appeal of the original was that it was so colourful. There is something very wrong with all new films being so dark and hard to see. What ever happened to colour?
Guess its a sign of the times….dark.
