Busy Times
I know I haven't written much over the past couple of weeks and I really want to get back into writing new posts, but life has been busy. Between work and taking care of a newborn I've had little time to devote to my blog, much less think. Hopefully next week will be better so that I can get back into the flow. -
Getting Personal
For the most part the posts of my blog are related to design, music, photography...basically creative subjects. But every now and then I have the desire to write about everyday things and so I'm going to start incorporating those into the blog. The blog is fixed and I'm back at work after having 2 weeks off. I feel like a new man. Now all I have to do is go through tons of emails, get caught up on projects and peruse the 2355 articles that just pulled into my RSS feeder. -

Ethan Jeffrey Coffman
Born 9:41pm on July 3rd weighing in at 8lbs and is 21". Cynthia and I are doing well and he's amazing. Our friends and family have been a huge support for us and while we're a little tired and obviously adjusting to taking care of a newborn, we're in great shape and enjoying every minute of this. -
Apartment Therapy
I had heard about the site Apartment Therapy before and seen some of the great photos showcased on the site come through a few of my design blog feeds, but had not visited the site until this morning. I'm a firm believer in how an environment can have either a positive or negative impact on our lifestyles, moods, and creativity and this site affirms that belief. Captured this shot over the weekend while Cynthia and I were perusing some BBQ joints in Lockhart, TX. This was taken in the back entrance to Smitty's Market, which we didn't eat at but had heard was a really good spot. We were inside for maybe 3 mins and left smelling like smoke. Now that's a true BBQ joint. We did eat at Kreuz's Market, which was ridiculously good.
