Dell partnered with this year's X Games festival in a number of ways and one of their on-site activities gave attendees the ability to have their faces superimposed onto the bodies of varies X Games athletes. To extend this idea online and into the Dell Lounge we built a digital version of the same activity. We called it the Trans-Poser. Users could create their photos and then share them on the Dell Lounge and save them for use on other social networks.
Taking cues from Dieter Rams and other vintage electronics I designed this "face-transplanting device". All of the buttons, dials, and UI elements were created from scratch in Photoshop using vector shapes and layer styles almost exclusively. The last image on the left is a detailed view of these items.
