Branding Update

When joining PCPartPicker I was tasked to elevate the company's overall presentation. That meant starting with the branding. The original logo was centered around an interesting concept, but had room for improvement. I simplified and improved the balance of the logomark and refined the logotype.

Website Redesign

The biggest lift was a fully updated site. Most PCPartPicker users want focused access to the part catalog and system builder tooling, so the site design was optimized for information density and speed. I led the design, HTML, and CSS efforts across all responsive templates which included full theme overrides for site instances.

Asset Creation

One of the last features I worked on was a dynamic diagram showing how the components on a user's part list were allocated to the motherboard. I created a set of 3D icons for this diagram so users could easily identify by sight which port to use.

Wallpapers

As a gift back to the community I created a couple wallpapers which keyed off of the PCPartPicker mark. This also gave me an opportunity further my 3D hard surface modelling, materials and rendering skills.
